2025 Blanton Collier Awards and an Evening with Legends
The 2025 Blanton Collier Awards and an Evening with Legends was held on June 26, 2025 at the Downtown Hilton in Lexington, KY. Romeo Crennel, former head coach of the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans headlined the presentation of the 2025 Blanton Collier Awards. The event included an opportunity to meet Coach Crennel and past Blanton Collier award winners and members of the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Kay introduces keynote speaker and 2025 Blanton Collier Integrity Award winner Romeo Crennel. Blanton Collier Sportsmanship Group Founder and Board Member, Dr. Kay Collier McLaughlin also announced the renaming of the groupâs Volunteer Coach of the Year award in honor of Kentucky High School Football coaching legend, Philip Haywood, the 2014 recipient of the Howard Schnellenberger Coach of the Year award. Sadly, Coach Haywood passed away in early 2025. |
